Weird Tree, Beautiful Tree

I saw this tree in a park in Alicante, Spain. The fact that the small stump could hold the three huge branches without breaking was mesmerizing. It was probably the weirdest tree I have ever seen, but it was also beautiful in its strength.

I was reminded that sometimes we carry many different trials and troubles at the same time that should break us. But, through the strength that God gives us via the Holy Spirit, we are able to remain beautiful and strong.

Ephesians 3: 16-17 states, “I pray that from his glorious, unlimited resources he will empower you with inner strength through his Spirit. Then Christ will make his home in your hearts as you trust in him. Your roots will grow down into God’s love and keep you strong.”
