I wrote this for the other blog, The Humble Word Nerd, but I wanted to share it on this blog. When I see so much incivility and ugliness among people in restaurants and on buses and in airports, I wonder if the same people one insults today may not be the person you need in the future. It has been on my mind for a while, as I pray for a change to come in America, particularly in regards to race relations.
