Mother Earth is crying for her children,
The loss of the rain forest brings her tears.
How long before we understand the damage
Will not be fixed, no matter how many years?
How can we deny that climate change is real
When we see the pictures of polar bears
Starving where ice is gone and there’s no food?
How long will we continue to over consume
Before we admit that things are not good?
What world will the next generations inherit,
If we continue our planet’s riches to sell?
We must find answers, by changing our ways,
Or there will be no places on earth to dwell.
