George and Susan walked to the bar where they could always find a kind word from someone. Their friend, Harry, established the Bird Haven, especially for people who know how to see the humanity of others and who don’t think that being nice demonstrates weakness or frailty of heart. The booths are filled with beautiful, soft, and comfortable pillows, and everyone meets to relax after a hard day in the work world where competition and envy are constants.
The two birds sitting quietly on their stools are called the Mayor and the Empress. They rule the roost, and anyone who gets boisterous and hostile is escorted off the premises. Life is too short for that kind of silliness. Here kindness reigns, and every patron appreciates knowing that at the end of the day, there is a place where they can be themselves and enjoy the vibes and the people around them.
