The Light in Hawaii Calms the Soul

Hawaii is the farthest I have traveled. It was a long plane journey, but it was so worth it. The first thing I noted about it was the difference in the light. It was like having cataracts fixed, where colors are accentuated and peace comes into your soul. I don’t know why it is different; perhaps it’s because there are fewer industries emitting smog into the air. Perhaps it is the ocean breezes that clean the air. Whatever the cause, it has a calming effect on us. I so long to travel there again!
