When I saw these flowers up high over my head, I simply loved the beauty of them. All of the colors reminded me that, in nature, flowers of different colors work together to create beauty and a sense of peaceful coexistence. Oh, that humans would learn that we can do the same.

The flowers today are dedicated to my late son, Malcolm, who would have been 43 years old today. He loved bright colors, and was not afraid to wear them, especially shirts and sneakers. The yellow and orange flowers being kissed by the sun remind me of the beauty and constancy of life.
