I loved this lone bloom. It seemed to be holding on to the very last. Sometimes, that's what we feel like when troubles come. With faith, we persevere unto our change comes. Holding On! Posted for the Flower of the Day Challenge from Cee's Photography.
Flower of the Day Challenge, December 8, 2018
The picture of flowers posted today was taken at the Montarosa Olive Oil Farm in Moncarapacho, Spain. One of the few beautiful memories of my childhood was a feature like this in the garden of a wonderful and loving woman who made me feel valued as a child. Seeing it at the olive oil farm,... Flower of the Day, December 7, 2018 by Regina
These lovely flowers greeted us as we visited the Novacortica Cork Factory near where we were staying in Quarteria, Portugal. I loved how the real flowers nearly matched the flowers painted on the vase. I wish I could have purchased the vase to bring home and light up my living room. Novacortica Factory, Portugal Posted... Flower of the Day, December 6, 2018
These flowers seemed to be performing a synchronized dance! I could just picture them moving together in perfect rhythm with music! Posted for Cee's Photography Flower of the Day Challenge, December 6, 2018
Flower of the Day December 5
These flowers were in the Municipal Park in Elche, Spain. They looked like mums, but may not be. They look as though God himself painted them that vibrant yellow that soothes our souls. Thank you, God, for the color yellow! What a gift! Posted for Cee's Photography's Flower of the Day December 5, 2018

Another bloom from the beauties at the Huerto del Cura Gardens in Elche, Spain. I loved this flower because it reminded me of a hummingbird hovering as it partakes of the nectar from a flower. I forgot to get the names of the flowers, and just took pictures as my heart was touched by them.... Flower of the Day December 2
I photographed these flowers in the Huerta del Cura Gardens in Elche, Spain. I thought they were geraniums, but Douglas says they are not. He does not know what they are. If anyone knows, please send me a comment. Thanks in advance. Posted for Cee's FOTD Challenge.
The Power of a Garden!
A former student gave me the cross pictured above, and it sits in my front yard among our flowers and shrubs as a reminder of the power of a garden. It states, "One is closer to God in a garden than any place else on earth." I have found this to be true, and wherever... Continue Reading →
Faith Created in an Invisible World
I started dwelling in an invisible world when I was in the fifth grade, to feel normal and to find a place where life was sane. I don't even remember when it began; I woke up one day and realized that I had a space inside of me with a family that consisted of a... Continue Reading →
