Peachy Kisses and Hope: August Writing Prompts

A new great-granddaughter named Knola

With fuzzy hair lies on my bed,

So, I bend to introduce myself to her,

Planting peachy kisses upon her head.

She coos and smiles and drools

At this lady who thanks God above,

For another precious wonderful example

Of his wondrous and unfailing love.

What is it about a new life being born

That reassures us of God’s mercy and grace?

I believe it’s the fact that each child brings with it

A renewed hope for the whole human race.
