Fashion Outlaw

Michaela knew that she was risking isolation from her new husband’s snobbish friends. But, she thought, “Why should I  be ruled by someone’s archaic rules on what is proper to wear?” So, she slid on her beloved white jeans and stepped out for the winter carnival. As she entered the pavilion, she heard the gasps, “White pants after Labor Day? What a barbarian!” But, she walked with her head held high, letting the fashion outlaw in her run free.
