This seat caught my eye because it was dedicated to someone who died young. Because it was situated away from the path we were walking on, I wondered if the young man had loved sitting and contemplating life.
I immediately thought of parents, friends, and colleagues who come and sit in the swing and remember times of joy and laughter with the deceased. I was also reminded to make every moment in life with others count, letting go of silly disagreements and just saying, “Maybe you are right!” Then, simply enjoy each other’s company.

What a lovely way to remember someone.
