Don’t Put People Off: 100 Word Wednesday #104

I feel such remorse. I had planned on yesterday to visit my old partner in crime, Jessica, and take her a new plant. But, I waited until today, and to my utter frustration, it started snowing.

I called and told her that I would come when the snow cleared. She said that she realized that sometimes have other things to do. I appreciated her understanding attitude.

Now I could kick myself! Jessica slipped into eternity, not even one hour ago. I am mad at myself! I placed the plant on the kitchen windowsill as a reminder: Don’t put people off.
