Waking in the night, as hungry as a bear,
Opened the fridge, and found nothing there.
Nothing that would satisfy my sweet tooth,
And if you want to hear my sordid truth,
Unless I see plenty of cookies, cakes, or pies,
I don’t find that my great hunger will die.
I know that beggars can’t be choosers,
But, without something sweet, I feel such a loser.

I’ve been there, more often however in the daytime. Still the same effect.
