I thank God often for my eyes,

For they allow me to behold

The wonder of earth’s majesty

Each day as its beauty unfolds.

Red, yellow, blue, pink, and green,

Orange, purple, white, and gold,

Vibrant colors that warm the heart

And can transform a damaged soul.
