He wasn’t, by any means, a young flame,
So, he didn’t have time for mind games.
Times past, I was always the blame,
But accusations from him never came.
With compassion, his love he framed
In ways that dispelled of hurtful claims.
Blessedly, our faith and hope are the same,
So, we have love without needless shame.
Written for Saturday Mix for Mindlovemisery’s Menagerie: The prompts were flame, frame, game, blame, same, claim.
This week we are “writing away, and having a play, with rhyming words for you today” with Rhyme Time. ‘Rhyme Time’ focuses on the use of rhyme to build your writing piece. You will be given six rhyming words* and need to use all of them (but not limited to these) in your response, which should be a poetry form of your choice.
