Cleaning the Air!

Pollen and I don’t get along,

It causes me so much tedious grief!

So, when a downpour comes along,

I know with it comes some relief.

It may be only temporary help for me,

With more awful pollen on the way.

But, I thrill as each drop of rain falls,

Cleaning leaves, and keeping sneezing at bay.

Maybe if it rained just a little more,

I could throw away those nose drops,

And instead I would sally into new places,

Admiring all the beautiful trees in the copse.
