This week’s prompt, reading, for Tale Weaver #277 from Mindlovemisery’s Menagerie is an extension of last week’s prompt on books.
She walked into the place with the books,
And her jaw dropped in utter pleasure.
So many books to take home and read,
Her joyfulness was without measure.
She learned very young of life’s hurts.
Often it seemed like there was no way out.
But for her to sit in a corner and read all alone
Was like finding water during a long drought.
Today, a library or a bookstore reminds her
Of all the wonderful, exciting trips that she took
To places where hurts were never to be found,
Her thirst to see the world was quenched by a book.
Excellent, Regina

It’s a wonderful way to see the world and understand more about it through the books we read. Great take on the prompt Regina, thanks for participating.
