Heroes are So Needed

A hero is someone who wishes to help and to save

Us from things that could put us in an early grave.

They teach us to think first, and then to be brave,

And to never allow others our humanity to waive.

It is the wondrous advice that they so freely gave

That can bring us out of our self-imposed caves.
