Thank God, It’s Safe to Drive Again!

Snow turns into slush.

White lines no longer blend in.

Safe to drive again.

When I saw the prompts, I automatically thought of the one winter in Illinois where I was terrified of driving, mainly because I couldn’t see the street lines and when I braked, the car kept moving. We moved in the spring to California. Written for RonovanWrites Weekly Haiku Poetry Prompt Challenge: slush and blend (ed/s).
