Every Year is a Gift!

I’m pleased with my fate.

I’ve reached my three score and ten!

New years are a bonus!

On Thursday, I will be age 71, so I think of each new year past the promised three score and ten (70) to be a gift and a bonus. I am so thankful for each birthday! Written for Ronovanwrites Weekly Haiku Poetry Prompt Challenge: Fate and Pleased.
