On Long Journeys, It’s Good to Stop and Look at the Beauty

Life is a long trek.

Pause and look at its beauty,

And be filled with hope.

Written for the RonovanWrites Weekly Haiku Poetry Prompt Challenge: Pause and Trek. It is so easy on long hikes or treks to forget to look at the beauty because we are so determined to meet time goals or distance goals. I’ve learned to stop and look at the beauty of my surroundings because that should be our aim.
