Members of the writing group sit around the Formica table, looking at the crimson-colored flowers in the wallpaper, trying to reseed the soil of their imaginations. Communication is their product, and all are winners of writing awards. Abstract literature links them in an elemental way, for their thinking is dissimilar to others who in all likelihood would find their work virtually worthless.
There is a lack of excitement today because writer’s block appears contagious. Yet, they sit and desperately hope that the nearness of friends will open the floodgates of their thoughts and words will pour forth on the blank pages of their notebooks.
