I entered the tree with awe.
Oh, how small I seemed.
But I imagined the tree
Was as enthralled with me.
Two of God’s creations
Meshed at a moment in time.
The tree standing for ages,
And me settling into my prime.
I didn’t feel any superiority,
For this tree had outlived so many.
It reminded me to be content
Whether I possess a little or have plenty.
So tall it stands with such majesty,
Symbolizing the greatness of God.
Together, we stood in the forest,
And with God was I totally in awe.

This is so beautiful Regina. A praise to the creations of God. Thanks for joining in with this wonderful poem.
