Spreading Happiness Don’t Cost A Thing

“Give a Little Happiness” was written on the sign in the window.

I wondered how to accomplish that with no money on me.

Then, I smiled and said something positive to each of the passersby,

And I realized that spreading joy can happen quite spontaneously.

Telling people how lovely they look or complimenting them in some way,

Spreads joy and happiness in the world that doesn’t have to cost us anything.

Just seeing each person’s humanity and the value and worth of their lives,

Allows us to give people the gift of our attention, and oh, the smiles it brings.
