What a nuisance you are, infesting the grass.
Bothering us without us knowing we’ve been bit.
Then blisters the size of a quarter appear all over,
And the itching sends us into a scratching fit.
You don’t fight fair and square, for I cannot feel
When you use my body for your meal of the day.
So, now the war is on, and let’s see how you like
The bug spray I’ll use liberally to make you pay.
Written for the Photo Challenge #525 from Mindlovemisery’s Menagerie. Also used the Three Things Challenge #M769 from Sensitivity 101: bother, nuisance, infest.

Thanks for the inclusion. Those bug bites can be painful and itch something wicked!

Chiggers, scabies, mites. These microscopic pests are so small that they are virtually invisible, but, boy oh boy, do they pack a wallop!

I am so glad I live in a place where there are no chiggers…or poisonous spiders…or poisonous snakes.

You are blessed. I seem to be a bug magnet.

Well we do have mosquitoes and they do love my sweet blood. We just don’t have chiggers here. Too cold.
