I see you crying as you hide among the rocks.
Don’t let vain and stupid people ruin your day.
We humans are a hodgepodge of body shapes,
And no one has a right to single you out that way.
You are dexterous in everything that you attempt.
You’ve earned the respect of others at your work.
You were made distinct, which makes you valuable.
So, don’t pay attention to the flossing of a jerk.
Written for the What Do You See #273 from Sadje at Keeping It Alive. Fandango One Word Challenge prompt is Distinct. Ragtag Daily Prompt is Hodgepodge. The Daily Spur prompt is Vain. Three Things Challenge #M954 prompts are Dexterous (US spelling), Earn, and Floss.

We are very afraid of the opinions of others, at least I am. I work too hard to please other people. It’s a failing, but one I’m working at.
