Love Me Always, Too!

For so long, I believed that I would never be loved.

I thought I was the least-desired person in any room.

Then, you came along and began a campaign to woo me.

Calling me a pearl of great value caused me to swoon.

Inch by inch I came to believe that I was valuable,

As you told me why you loved me so much.

You said my lovely smile and how I kept you laughing

Made you long for my gentle embraces and sweet touch.

I will forever love you, even beyond this earthly path.

Somehow, I just know this reality will come true.

So, as we walk this journey toward til death do we part,

I sincerely hope you will always love me, too.
