This poem isn’t meant to frighten my audience,
Just to remind you to never give up on romance.
Despite the scars that unhappiness can bring,
You can find pearls, if you will take another chance.
Prune the awful memories from your troubled past,
Knowing you are lucky to be out of an unlucky situation.
Embrace new love, and quilt together tons of memories,
As you go from the bottom to the top in sweet celebration.
Written for Saturday Mix, Opposing Forces prompts: top and bottom, and lucky and unlucky, from Mindlovemisery’s Menagerie. Fandango One Word Challenge prompt is Audience. Ragtag Daily Prompt is Scars. The Daily Spur Word of the Day prompt is Frighten. The Three Things Challenge #M971 prompts are prune, pearl, quilt.
