I Hope to Live Long Enough to Read All My Books

I suffer from abibliophobia,

Fear of no books to read.

They are water to my soul.

Like food, they are a need.

I spend time on Amazon,

Thanks to Bookhub and its sales,

To ensure I never run out.

Just the thought makes me quail.

My Kindle is full of mysteries,

Fiction, biographies, and such.

I hope to read them all,

For reading is my crush.

So, each day, I add a few more

To my stash that is so dear.

For running out of books to read

Is one of my greatest fears.

Written for Weekend Writing Prompt #462 from Sammi Cox. The prompt is Abibliophobia in 94 words exactly. When I looked up the word, I saw that I do have at least one fear.
