Walking with the Assurance of Being Loved and Valued

I stepped onto the road towards the mountaintop,

Unsure of my chances of reaching my goal.

But knowing that I do not walk alone,

Each mile adds joy to my weary soul.

For if the Lord knows when every bird falls,

And I am more valuable than the sparrows,

Then I needn’t fear the journey ahead,

No matter the road be wide or narrow.

So, I’ll put one foot in front of the other,

And continue walking until life’s end.

For you’ll never reach the mountaintop,

If you fear what’s around the next bend.
