
Carole swallowed her fear and kept walking through the darkness of the many arches of the church. She thought she would never find the source of the music that touched all fives senses. Swelling to near delirium on some notes, it had her under its spell. The changes in volume and mood tagged it as a Rachmaninoff piece; everything pales in comparison to his masterpieces.
She strode down darkness of the walkway of the church where the bells sounded out the hours of the day, for the source of her joy was just beyond it. When she finally saw the light, she nearly danced, knowing she was about to be beguiled all over again.
