What Are You Trying to Say?

Caroline read the note front and back,

Wondering what Michael wanted to say.

But there were so many misspelt words

That she finally knew there was no way.

So, she called him on the telephone,

And asked, “What do you want, my child?”

He said, “I wrote it all down in my note,

Should my bathroom floor be carpet or tile?”

Appalled that her son couldn’t spell little words,

Caroline knew she had reason to worry.

So, she told him to buy some pretty tiles,

And to invest in a very good dictionary.
