The Sun is Always Shining: Weekend Writing Prompt

When your life seems out of control,

And everything feels helter-shelter,

It’s hard to believe that the truth

That everything will soon get better.

When the clouds seem so deep,

It’s like living under a shroud,

That’s when you need to remember:

The sun always shines above the clouds.

Every storm comes to an end,

And the skies are then filled with light.

So, be patient and keep faith in God.

Everything will some day be alright.

Trust that I know of what I am speaking,

For I have survived more than my share

Of life’s darkest moments of woe and pain,

Much more than I thought I could bear.
