I took these pictures at the Archaeological Museum in Elche, Spain. I was fascinated by how short the uniforms were. Gives new meaning to the phrase, Cut them off at the knees. I surely hope they had on some strong bottoms. Above is my own warrior!

I love these! I never realized the uniforms were that short!! I wonder if the men were not very tall and it made them seem a little larger???? Hmmm…..
