What we can do with longer days,
Let me count the marvelous ways.
Picnics happening on lush green grass,
As the new leaves in the trees sway.
Listening to what seems a frog chorus,
As they are in the weeds ensconced.
A church service in the beautiful woods,
With reverence and call and response.
Strolling through the magnificence of the forest,
Stopping to admire while sitting on the rocks.
Listening to the music of God’s great creation,
So grateful for another spring equinox.
