I Wish I Had Just One Picture of You: Friday Fictioneer

Marla sifted through the photos, hoping to find one of her beloved older sister, Catherine. They had been inseparable as children, and Catherine was her hero, fearless as any of the boys in the neighborhood. Her bravery had caused her a lot of problems with Mama, but Marla had loved cheering her on in her mischief.

Marla cried when she realized that there wasn’t even one picture of her beloved sister to show her children. But, she would continue to paint pictures of her in their minds through stories of her derring-do.
