Breathe Deeply Until Morning Comes Again: OctPoWriPo 2019, Dy 24

I tried to wrote a song today, as suggested on the OctPoWriMo 2019 Challenge. The prompt is Breathe. I wanted to encourage someone today with the knowledge that mornings always follow nights.

Life’s challenges make it hard to cope,

We get discouraged and lose our hope.

But soon we realize that all trials pass,

After crying, morning comes, at last.

Morning comes and tears are wiped away,

It’s the dawning of a brand-new day,  

Troubles will our strength slowly drain.

Breathe deeply until morning comes again.

Remember, we battle not with flesh and blood,

When tribulations come like a mighty flood,

And we cannot fight in our strength alone,

Trust in Jesus, He makes our troubles his own.

And it seems that nothing will ever be fine.

But, know that nights always will end,

And God’s tender mercies will begin.
