The Wealth Found in Nature: Wordle #211

I don’t live in an affluent neighborhood, but I felt wealthy as I watched a very spirited hummingbird seeking nutrition from the petals of the flowers indigenous to our area. I was walking on the trail near my home, searching for inspiration for my blog post.

Being an iridescent person, someone who seems to understand the weights and burdens of others, having suffered tremendous pain myself, I needed a dose of beauty to lift my spirit and pull me out of the doldrums. Watching the mighty little bird as he or she swirled from flower to flower, I felt joy bubble up in my soul, and I laughed for the first time in days.

I went home and wrote in my blog on the importance of us housebound humans taking time to revel in nature and its beauty and lessons, for it is the key to good mental health. Thank you for the lesson, my little avian friend!

Written for Wordle #211 from Mindlovemisery’s Menagerie. The twelve prompts are in the flower art below.
