Not Cleaning Man Caves Saves Marriages: Weekend Writing Prompt

I truly love my dear husband,

But I’m fanatic about a clean home.

He lives like a troglodyte in the basement,

The place that holds his computer and throne.

All of his stuff is away from my sight,

With papers and tools strewn everywhere.

I remain in my office that I keep neat,

So I don’t find myself pulling out my hair.

When have to visit the king’s cave for exercise,

I keep my gaze away from all the mess.

Otherwise, there’d would be a cleaning spree,

Which would cause him to cry in distress.

Written for the Weekend Writing Prompt #189 from Sammiscribbles: Troglodyte in 95 words.
