Snow falls all around us,

As we wish to see the sun.

But we’re committed to forever,

No matter what may come.

Life has a way of intruding,

And we can’t control the weather.

Yet, love and joy will be ours

As long as we are together.

Written for the Thursday Inspiration #90 from Light Motifs II. I immediately thought of the life-long commitment of some bird species, and of how they remain together in every circumstances. Oh, if we could learn from nature.
