This week, Mindlovemisery’s Menagerie asked us to consider the concept of Two Minds at Loggerheads. “Loggerheads as in minds in conflict from which there doesn’t seem a simple solution.”
We can’t seem to find any common ground,
And find that two minds at loggerheads is bad.
So, maybe we will agree to disagree sometimes,
Because we’re both getting awfully mad.
You believe that we can’t control our lives,
And I think that we have a lot of choices.
You say that I’m too opinionated for my good,
And I say you listen to too many other voices.
So, before we permanently destroy our love,
Let’s admit that each of our ideas are strong,
And that just because we don’t always think alike,
Well, just maybe neither of us are wrong!
