Music for Heaven: Photo Challenge #341

Photo from NASA

With eyes closed, she played an exuberant tune on her saxophone,

Using the Qi in her body, to escape the dark of which she was prone.

Nothing ostentatious, just the sweet music that originated in her heart

Flowed out of her instrument as she practiced her wondrous art.

Up in the sky, she plays, though few people on the ground will hear,

Blaring out her thankfulness to God, with music meant to touch his ears.

I was reminded of the poem about reaching out and touching the face of God, and I thought about music that touches his ears and makes him smile. Written for the Photo Challenge #341. Fandango prompt is Exuberant. Ragtag prompt is Qi. Word of the day Challenge is Ostentatious.
