Eileen was hesitant to open the door leading up to the attic

Because she was afraid when she got up there she might find

That her beloved husband had been keeping a secret from her,

One that involved escaping the marriage and leaving her behind.

What she found was so astonishing that it made her laugh out loud,

For her hubby had inked a murder mystery, and it wasn’t all that bad.

He had written what she believed just might be a real masterpiece,

So with a new kink in her back, she returned to the sink, so proud of her lad.
